· * that there are  different kinds of movement - the motion of common objects

P.E. Term 2

WALT throw and catch a ball.

SUCCESS CRITERIA- We can aim at an object and we know to have our hands up ready to catch the ball.


Writing Term 2

WALT  recount something.
SUCCESS CRITERIA  I have answered some of the ‘W’ questions. 

I went on the bus with my class to the Wigram Airforce museum. We did that because this term we are studying motion and flight. There were so many planes at the museum. We even got to sit in some of them.  The treasure hut was so much fun. We learnt a lot from Chris when we were in the classroom.

Maths Term 1

WALT use the 2,5,10x tables
SUCCESS CRITERIA I know that 2x5 = 10, 4 x5 = 20, 6 x 5 = 30, 7 x10 = 70.

Writing Term 1

WALT write a recount about something  that has already happened.

SUCCESS CRITERIA – we will have a capital at the start of each sentence and a fullstop at the end.

My class had swimming this morning. We have three groups.  I can float and swim across the pool. I love swimming.


Student Voice - I know where to put fullstops and capital letters. 

Reading Term 1

WALT read like we talk.
SUCCESS CRITERIA; we can look along the line as we read so that we read like we talk.

Student Voice: " I know to keep looking along the line when I am reading".

WALT draw a self portrait.

SUCCESS CRITERIA - The portrait has facial features  included, drawn in proportion and correctly placed.
